One of the only reasons this is even a post is that I’m playing at graduation today with the UGA Wind Symphony. Which is why I’m still in Athens. But I did want to take the time to say that even though I’m going to hate sitting in the heat and playing Pomp and Circumstance 1000 times, I’m REALLY going to love seeing some of my friends graduate. Even though this is my first year here, I’ve made great senior friends. Both of my section leaders from Redcoats are graduating, and I don’t really think they know how much of an impact they had on me. They’re both so great and I can’t wait to see what they do in the future. A bunch of my sisters are also graduating, which is really tough. My grand big, pledge mom, and our chapter president/drum major are all part of this group. TEARS. ANYWAYS. Congratulations, UGA graduates of 2012.
